Objectives

Broad knowledge and understanding of: * The principles of procurement management and their application * Procurement management processes and procedures * The need to link time, cost and resources to the project framework
* Development of project budgets and expenditure forecasts * Use of the budgets and expenditure forecasts as control mechanisms * Appropriate cost management methodologies, their capabilities, limitations, application and outcomes * The principles of quality management and their application * Quality processes, quality planning, perform quality assurance, perform quality control * Quality management systems, methodologies and tools * Risk management planning, risk identification, qualitative risk analysis, quantitative risk analysis, risk response planning, risk monitoring and control *Appropriate risk management methodologies, their capabilities, limitations, applicability and outcomes

Content

Procurement i. Determine procurement requirements ii. Follow agreed procurement processes iii. Conduct contracting and procurement activities iv. Implement contract and/or procurement v. Manage contract and procurement finalisation procedures

Cost i. Determine project budget ii. Monitor and control project budgets and costs iii. Conduct project financial completion activities

Quality i. Determine quality requirements ii. Implement quality assurance iii. Implement project quality improvements
