Contemporary Entrepreneurship

10 Units

This unit explores in detail a number of specific issues relevant to the management and success of small businesses. Using a variety of different research tools, and through weekly readings and presentations, students will be encouraged to develop an understanding of some of the important contemporary issues affecting, or likely to affect, small business in the near future. Whereas the preceding unit, Small Business Management, emphasised practical "hands-on" skills, this program enhances conceptual and holistic perspectives important to the long-term growth of the small business owner, both as an individual and as a manager.
