Our Campus locations

Regardless of location or mode of study you have full access to the facilities provided at all campuses of the University of Newcastle.

Callaghan Campus (Newcastle, NSW)

The Callaghan campus has state of the art libraries and award winning Student Hubs. Hi-tech information commons give students a great place to meet, socialise and access a range of services. These include wireless and laptop facilities, PCs and Macs, scanners, printing and copy facilities, and laptop borrowing. There’s a fantastic sporting facility – The Forum – that offers loads of services including a gym and Olympic standard indoor pool.

UoN Services works hard to enhance student life, organising fun social and cultural events, regular lunchtime concerts and markets. The Callaghan Campus is well serviced by both bus and train (there is a railway station adjacent to the campus) and it has easy access to the freeway.

Newcastle City Precinct

Our city location has adapted University House to its needs. It’s a lovely art deco sandstone building located directly opposite Civic Park within the Newcastle CBD, and is a convenient facility for those who live and work in the city. It has an all-hours information common and library facilities that are open to all our students.

Sydney CBD Campus

The Sydney Campus is located on the corner of Bathurst and Sussex streets in the CBD. Our purpose built teaching facilities include 60 seat lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, a resource library, student commons and study areas, computers and scanners, and wireless internet.
