A program is structured pattern of study that leads to an award or degree from the University of Newcastle. Examples of programs include Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Master qualifications. Students may also elect to complete a single course (subject) rather than a whole program.

What do you want to Study?

Do you wish to study this award as a non award or cross institutional student?

A Non-Award Student is one who wishes to study one or more subjects without proceeding to an award/degree. Non-Award enrollment may be undertaken as a preliminary work for a higher degree, got professional requirements or because of an interest in the area

Tuition cost for Non-Award courses must be paid in full within the first few weeks of the term. Domestic students enrolled in non-award courses can not defer their fees using FEE-Help.

Students from other Australian Universities can undertake approved course at the University of Newcastle for credit towards an award at their home institution. They receive instruction, assessment and examination results but are not enrolled in a University of Newcastle award program.

The University of Newcastle requires extra information from your home University if you wish to complete studies as a Cross Institutional student.
