Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. understand career paths in Psychology
  2. understand research topics in Psychology at an advanced level
Content

Advanced level topics in the applications of psychology will be covered.  Topics will be drawn from the following areas: practising psychology, research psychology, and other areas of applied psychology such as industrial/organisational or forensic psychology.

Requisites
  • This course is only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) programs or Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) [40100] programs.
Assumed Knowledge Completion of all 1000, 2000 and 3000 level courses required in the B Psychology (Honours) program, or completion of a major sequence in psychology in the BA, BSc or BSocScience.
